In this Engle progeny tobacco proceeding, Plaintiff Kathleen Anderson alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and other defendants of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes, manufactured by the company, which led Daniel Begley to get addicted to smoking and resulted in his death from lung cancer.
The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Howard Acosta and Bruce Denson. The defendant R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and other joining defendants were represented by attorneys Stephen Kaczynski, Mark Seiden and Craig Mayfield.
