In this Law Enforcement employment litigation proceeding, plaintiff Lieutenant Charles Hughes a union leader alleged State of California of discrimination when State of California State Prison system discharged him of his job at the prison in Lancaster. The plaintiff claimed that his discharge was in retaliation for his reporting illegal racial segregation of inmates and other racial discrimination.
